A Few Good Men

Naturally our team has changed through the years and we have learned a thing or two. We love our jobs and we want our crew to enjoy coming to work, too. We will wait to hire on to find the RIGHT fit.

When everyone respects each other we're a better team and it makes for a safe and efficient yet sometimes quite entertaining work day.

So we find respectable men.

Tree work is a skill not everyone slinging a saw and bucket truck is capable of doing well. It takes intelligent, skilled, men and women, who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty and at times go head on with mother nature!

We're thankful to have Dominic V. and Tyler K. on our EPIC team!

How EPIC Tree Care began...

Before Epic Tree Care there was a young (pre-teen) Jordan employing his friends and cutting lawns for their neighbors. After being gifted a chainsaw for Christmas at 12 years old and his already refined climbing skills and affinity for heights- he was already destined to own and operate a tree service!

When Jordan was 19 he worked as a lineman apprentice with IBEW for 2 years where he learned safety techniques, pole top and bucket rescue, and proper rigging techniques.

Jordan and Tab met in 2009 as he was working on the road- soon they quit their current life path and moved to Missouri together.

We started EPIC Tree Care in Independence, Missouri in 2010. (Jordan's hometown) Beginning in residential tree service, then moving into commercial services. After a few years we were fortunate to travel the country chasing storm damage; including the Joplin tornadoes and Hurricane Sandy. We were married in 2012 and two months later, landed in New Hope, Pennsylvania where we managed a Christian campground together for three years.

Jordan continued to trim and remove trees in Pennsylvania. He worked through EPIC Tree Care and with esteemed local business, Hugh A. Marshall Landscape Contractors, Inc.

In 2015 we welcomed our first daughter Eliza into the world and moved back to Tabatha's hometown here in Wisconsin.

We are blessed to be solely self-employed and are passionate about providing excellent service! (Like our LIVElyhood depends on it!)

We since have added Harper, Hannah, and Everhett to our EPIC clan!

In 2019 we started a hobby farm raising grassfed beef, hair sheep, rabbits, and organic chickens/eggs. Update: In 2023 we realized we don't like cows and have since stopped raising them and have rescued 2 horses from kill lots. Everyone is much happier.

When Jordan isn't in a tree he enjoys time with his family, woodworking, hunting, and especially exploring on the water!

When Tabatha isn't answering the phone and wrangling babies she enjoys taking care of their zoo and homeschooling the kids!

Tabatha also heads the Birthday Program of the Lakeshore Foster Families & Friends out of Manitowoc, WI- Supporting kinship and foster children.

SAVE the Squirrels!

Daphne and Bam-Bam were just one week old when we rescued them- and they needed to be fed every four hours! Thankfully they survived and are now living in a tree in our old neighborhood.

Archy is another little guy who was bottle fed for about 5 weeks and even traveled the country with us!

He enjoys exploring, sleeping on his back, and getting his armpit scratched- Really!
